Here are some great ways to
get involved:
Volunteer
Campaigns are about people power. Next to your vote, the most important
thing you can give to a campaign is your time.
We need volunteers to make phone calls to voters in the district, keep
our office up and running at full speed, and walk the neighborhoods of
District 6 with Rob, just to start. In an election which could be decided
by a handful of votes, spending just one hour a week with us could make
all the difference. We especially need volunteers from 6 to 9pm, Sunday
through Thursday.
Our headquarters are at 1621 Market Street, across from Franklin Street
(Local 38, Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Hall). Contact us by phone at
415-255-3078, or by email at info@robblack2006.com.
Host A House Party
One of the most effective ways we have for presenting Rob Black to potential voters is through hosted House Parties. The host(s) gather their neighbors and friends in residential buildings to meet Rob Black and discuss their concerns and issues. Generally these meetings last no more than 2 hours and offer the participants direct dialogue with Rob. One of Rob's campaign staff accompanies him so that the host is free to welcome the guests and not feel obligated to 'carry the evening'. We are having nightly House Parties right up to election Day so please feel free to contact Richard Morehead at 415-255-3078 to schedule an event at your home or nearby restaurant/bar.
